Leighton announces record performance and recruitment drive

Leading AWS software development company, Leighton, has announced a year of record performance with plans to create more jobs over the coming 12 months.

The company, which specialises in building software products and optimising processes to accelerate digital transformation for its customers, has seen a 31% increase in revenue during the 2024 financial year.

Following its success, the business has also made the decision to broaden its executive team and invest in sales, go to market and customer success initiatives as part of its growth strategy that is set to create over 20 jobs in the next year.

As part of its recruitment drive Leighton will be looking to bring on board several high-level positions including a Chief Consulting Officer to oversee its consultancy offering. Leighton also recently appointed Steve Morland as Chief Technology Officer, he will be responsible for accelerating digital transformation for Leighton’s customers.

Speaking about the strategy Steve Morland, Chief Technology Officer at Leighton said: “Our industry moves incredibly fast. Technology changes and so do our customers’ needs in line with user requirements. This means it’s incredibly important that we continue to be agile and adapt to market demand.

“Our new structure will further enhance our ability to provide the right resources, skills and expertise as well as deliver to exceptionally high standards on time and in budget. Ultimately, we’ll be able to continue delivering value for our customers and continue to innovate within our own business to facilitate further growth.
