Leighton are delighted to announce the launch of our new London office in the heart of the City. The space at 20 Little Britain will host our new commercial team and signposts the bullish ambitions of the company to compete on a global level. With the company in the process of appointing a Commercial Director to head up the London operation, we hope to have the full team in place and winning new business by the end of the summer.

Ideally located to serve new & existing clients

Whilst the County Durham location of the company's headquarters offer considerable benefits to staff and clients, the procurement of new office space in the heart of London has been designed to offer a superior service to our growing list of international clients.

The new offices are close to the City and just a stone’s throw away from St Paul’s.  It’s a fabulous location for us, providing both easy access to the City and transport links to Europe, and serves as a great location to host clients.

A brief history of Little Britain

Little Britain’s claim to fame is that it was mentioned in Charles Dickens’ novel Great Expectations as the location for the offices of the powerful, foreboding lawyer Jaggers. For long periods of time from the mid 16th century the street itself was populated by booksellers , and now appropriately enough it will play host to Leighton - a digital delivery company and expert in the commercial use of the book's successor, the internet.

Directions to our new offices

The nearest London Underground stations are St. Paul’s (Central line) and Barbican (Circle, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan lines), both of which are only a few minutes walk away. Farringdon and Moorgate are also only a short walk from the offices.  The closest mainline railway stations are City Thameslink and Moorgate.
